Job Description
As an analyst, the primary responsibility would be to support the business needs of internal and external partner organizations with reporting and analysis. As part of the reporting organization, the analyst would be required to deliver best in class reporting and analytical services, through application of processes and tools/technologies
Key Responsibilities
Take complete ownership of executive and operational reporting services for identified stakeholders and execute on responsibilities with minimum guidance. These activities include and are not limited to ongoing scorecards and KPI reporting, report development and automation efforts and presentations
Be proactive in delivering value-added analytical/reporting services to the various management teams.
Own and deliver across the reporting life-cycle, from requirements capture, data visualization, data extraction and collation & modelling to report production
Ability to troubleshoot and act as a first level responder to issues with the systems/reports owned
Apply Online Analytical Processing Techniques (OLAP) using information access tools such as SAS, Brio, Crystal, etc, by retrieving transaction data from various data marts. If required, responsible to manage data infrastructure, maintenance & development of core data-bases to support reporting activities
Create self service and other optimal reporting solutions that are efficient and timely to meet customer needs.
Responsible for developing relationships and working closely with various members of the management team across a wide variety of organizations.
Working hours - 1 PM to 10 PM India time; Team supports business partners and customers in the US geography

Desired Candidate Profile
Education:
(UG - B.Tech/B.E.) AND (PG - M.Sc, MCA - Computers)
• B.E / MCA / MSc, with ability to work on large data sets and analysis of systems.
• Prior experience in reporting and analytical work
• High Technology exposure required -
o Expertise in SQL, MS Excel, MS Access
o Expertise in databases (one or many) - SQL Server 2005,2008,Oracle 10G, MySQL
o Expertise in business intelligence and decision support tools such as SSRS, SSIS, SAS, Crystal, Brio
o Exposure to Informatica, VB.Net, HTML, Hyperion or PHP would be an added advantage
• Strong analytical skills across data modelling, data interpretation and quantitative analysis
• Exposure and expertise in representation of information through mediums such as power-point presentations, workbooks and other MS applications.
• Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, with quick decision making skills and strong business intuition
• Excellent communication and articulation skills, with ability to build and maintain relationships
