*In this particular code we use mod statement here we are finding every 5th observation from our dataset.

:Description Of Code:

Data Analysis: means the name of new data set which we are creating in our work library

set statement: Is used for access the already created dataset

Mod (_n_,5)=0; : here when we take the mod of (_n_,5) then the remainder will be 0(when _n_ reaches to 5 and divided by 5 then remainder will be 0 )

if mod( _n_ ,5)=0; : means when this code satisfy the if condition mod( _n_ ,5)=0

Using SAS SQL (Proc SQL,SAS/SQL)

Create table analysis as

where (mod( Monotonic () ,5))=0;

Monotonic (): this is used for iteration purpose means how many times sas looped same as _N_.

Mod ( Monotonic () ,5)=0; : here when we take the mod of ( Monotonic () ,5) then the remainder will be 0(when monotonic() reaches to 5 and divided by 5 then remainder will be 0 )

where mod( Monotonic () ,5)=0; : means when this code satisfy the where condition
